Elizabeth Summer – Terms & Policies

At Elizabeth Summer, we pride ourselves on offering a warm, personal boutique experience — whether you’re visiting our store in person or shopping online. Every order is handled with care, and we’re here to help if you have questions along the way.

Placing an Order

You can place an order online for any item that is available in our store. Your purchase is confirmed once payment has been received and processed successfully. Only then is your order complete, and your items reserved for you.

If an item is placed in your cart but payment is not completed, it will be released back into the store for other clients to purchase.

Payment

We accept online payments and EFT.

  • EFT Payments: Please complete your payment within 24 hours and email proof of payment to us. Orders not paid in time will be cancelled automatically.

  • International Payments: All bank charges must be covered by the sender. Elizabeth Summer is not responsible for any bank fees incurred.

  • Cash Deposits: Any bank fees for cash deposits will be for your account.

Delivery

We deliver nationally through Internet Express, The Courier Guy, Dawn Wing, Courier It:

  • Local delivery starts from R105, depending on  your area

  • National delivery starts from R120, depending on your area

  • Plettenberg Bay, St Francis and small towns usually cost R150 delivery 

  • Outlying areas may cost up to R250 — we’re happy to provide a personalised quote.

International delivery is available per order. Simply provide your address, and we’ll supply an accurate DHL quote.

We handle every order with care to ensure your items arrive safely and in perfect condition.

Returns & Exchanges

We want you to love every item from Elizabeth Summer.

  • Monogrammed items: All sales are final. Please double-check spelling before placing your order.

  • Swimwear: All sales are final.

  • Exchanges: Contact us within 7 days of purchase to request an exchange. Customers are responsible for shipping costs, which are:

    • R105 for local (JHB)

    • R120 for regional areas

    • Up to R250 for rural or remote areas
      These costs will be deducted from your credit or applied to your exchange.

Unfortunately, shipping costs are not refundable, as they are separate from the item price.

  • Sale & Promotional Items: All sales are final and not eligible for return or exchange.

  • Defective or Incorrect Items: Contact us within 7 working days. We will arrange collection or replacement, or issue a credit note or voucher. Delivery charges for defective items will be covered by Elizabeth Summer (upon authorization). Items returned after 7 days, or not in original condition/packaging, are subject to a 15% restocking fee.

Item Availability

All our items are carefully curated and produced in limited quantities. If an item is sold out, we’ll let you know and offer a reimbursement or credit note for the amount paid. Prices for new stock may change without notice.

Security & Fraud Prevention

To protect our clients and boutique, we reserve the right to cancel orders suspected to be fraudulent. Occasionally, we may request identification or credit card verification. If verification is not provided, the order may be cancelled.

Website Service

While we strive to keep our online store running smoothly, occasional maintenance or technical issues may occur. We recommend browsing using Chrome, Safari, or Firefox for the best experience.

Elizabeth Summer cannot be held responsible for temporary downtime or cross-browser incompatibilities that may affect checkout or payment.

Intellectual Property

All images, designs, text, and content on our site are owned by Elizabeth Summer or our vendors. Please do not copy, share, or reproduce without our written consent.

Changes to Terms & Policies

Elizabeth Summer reserves the right to update these policies at any time. By shopping with us, you agree to the latest terms.
